Web design is a growing industry, and we have found our niche in building affordable, custom web solutions that give our clients the ability to easily make updates to their website themselves. This sets us apart from the traditional web designers (who must make every change to a client's website when the client requests it). We build a custom website for a client, provide them one-on-one training and the personal service they desire, and they keep their website updated anytime they wish by logging in and using the PD-go! system themselves. It is fun to be in a field that is respected and to offer a unique service that people really desire. Income is generated from building websites, providing website maintenance, registering domain names and more, as well as generating residual income from recurring monthly service fees.
What would I do? We realize that building websites requires many varied skills and talents and that most people interested in owning a franchise may not possess these skills. Therefore, we have simplified the process of business ownership dramatically. Your role, as a PD-go! Web Solutions® Franchisee, is to market and advertise the service to small businesses and organizations in your area (typically through networking meetings and other lead generation methods), discuss the PD-go! solution with your potential clients, write up their contract, and then send their signed contract and deposit payment to our team at PD-go! Corporate. Our team will then proceed to build the website and manage the project, and you will be part of the team as the local 'point of contact' for your clients. That way, they have a local contact with which to work and to develop a relationship; you will collect their website documentation, scan photos, sit across the table from them at meetings when needed, etc. Once the website project is completed, the client will receive their training from our corporate training team. Then, the client can contact you or our corporate support team if they need assistance in the future.
How do I get paid? You will receive a generous commission on the website development fees as well as the monthly service fees that the client pays. (Monthly fees include the unlimited use of the PD-go! system, quality website and email hosting, general technical support, website visitor traffic statistics, and more.) You can also earn income on registering domain names and providing website maintenance for your clients.
